Ontario Association of Radiology Managers Toronto, Canada

  • 6 months: January 2009 – April 2010
  • ASP.NET, C#, Javascript, MS Access
  • Dreamweaver & Fireworks MX, Dreamweaver Extensions, CSS Stylesheets
  • Lead developer for non-profit organization in Ontario.  Project involved redesigning the existing website and advanced programming.  Programming included database cleanup and redesign, integrating membership database with site, programming automatic membership registration and renewal features, payment systems, and reporting.  Worked closely with the organization’s Board of Directors while carrying out the project.

FatWire Software Toronto, Canada

  • 2 months: July – August 2009

  • FatWire Content Server 7.5, IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse
  • Co-developer for enterprise-level web content management system, FatWire Content Server 7.5. This project involved redesigning the investment firm's website using up-to-date Content Server technologies and best practices.  Skills used were Content Server Admin, Java and JSP programming.  Worked with five other developers to fully implement the website as laid out in the detailed design document created by the project architect.

  • Lead developer for enterprise-level web content management system, FatWire Content Server 7.0.3. This project involved redesigning the website for a division of the American military division using up-to-date Content Server technologies and best practices.  Skills used were Content Server Admin, Java and JSP programming. Worked onsite with three other developers to fully implement the website as laid out in the detailed design document created by the project architect.

Mexican Pacific Marketing Manzanillo, Mexico

  • Built dynamic websites within a content management system, for an award-winning Mexican marketing firm that specializes in tourism-related websites.  Worked closely with the company’s director and graphics designers, occasionally managing up to five staff members.  Was responsible for the proper functioning of seven different websites.  All work was carried out in Spanish.

Government of Canada Toronto, Canada

  • 1 year: March 2004 – March 2005

  • Built and internal web application for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans that allows them to manage licencing for the Canadian fishing industry.  Lead programmer and UI designer.  This application was bilingual, French/English.

JesseJames Creative Inc. New York City, USA

  • 2 months: November – December 2002
  • PHP, MySQL
  • Microsoft IIS 5.0, Apache Web Server, Windows 2000 Server
  • Integrated a shopping cart into the client’s existing website.  Real-time credit card processing was achieved using osCommerce software and customizing PHP scripts to tie into Authorize.net’s transaction server.  The site uses 128-bit encryption. The website links into UPS’ website to gather up-to-date shipping rates anywhere in the world based on the weight of the products in the shopping cart.
  • An Administration Website allows the store owner to add, edit and delete products from the product database.

Ontario Physician Human Resources Data Centre Hamilton, Canada

  • 5 years:  January 1998 – November 2002
  • Perl, ASP, VBScript, MSAccess, Crystal Reports 8.5
  • Microsoft IIS 4.0 & 5.0, Windows NT and 2000 Server
  • Lead programmer for a website that allows users to login and view physician data reports.  Reports were created in Crystal Reports 8.5 and integrated seamlessly into the website.  The application includes user registration, approval and permission assignment via online forms.
  • A secure Administration Website allows administrators to add, edit and delete reports and company news for the “What’s New” section; and add, edit and delete users from the user database.
  • This has been an ongoing project with both major and minor enhancements made on an ongoing basis.  The original programming took four months and new functionality is added every few months.

ECNG, Inc. – Calvino Oakville, Canada

  • 6 months:  May – November 2002
  • ASP.NET, C#, Microsoft SQL Server 2000

  • Designer and lead programmer for a portable issue-tracking web application to manage correspondence between a company and its clients.  Users log in to the application, open a new case and add events as they work on the case.  Reports are available based on keyword searches, the progress of the case, date, time, and related issues.
  • A secure Administration Website allows administrators to edit the user and client databases as well as perform certain administrative tasks on each case.
  • Tasks also included training staff to use the application.

PHD Marketing, Inc. Toronto, Canada

  • 8 months: September 2001 – April 2002
  • Java, JSP, XML

  • Lead programmer for a web application that allows users to browse Toronto real-estate listings and agents.
  • A secure Administration Website allows the client to add, edit and delete listings and agent profiles, and upload photos and Flash animations.
  • Original site programming took thirty days, and maintenance and updates have been ongoing.

  • 4 months: April – July 2001

  • Lead programmer for a web application that allows users to login, search, add, edit and delete database records.
  • WinterTree spell-check software was integrated into the web forms.

ECNG, Inc. – Client Services Website Banff, Canada

  • 5 months:  December 2000 – April 2001

  • Microsoft IIS 5.0, Windows 2000 Server
  • Lead programmer for a site that allows users to login and view electricity consumption reports.  Reports include graphs and data tables.  A bulletin-board allows customers to communicate with their sales representative.
  • A secure Administration Website allows administrators to add, edit and delete accounts; upload comma-separated data files; add news items; and email the customer.

FUNREDES – CARIBTIC Portal Site Florence, Italy

  • 1 month: June 2000
  • PHP, PostgreSQL

  • Lead programmer for a portal site in French that allows users to search a database of websites, videos, magazines and publications related to various topics of interest.
  • Users create an account and suggest new listings to be included in the database.
  • A secure Administration Website allows the site owners to review, approve or discard user suggestions; add, edit and delete new listings; and update the user database.

FUNREDES – MISTICA Portal Site Toronto, Canada

FUNREDES – Website Redesign Project Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

  • 6 months: June – December 1999

  • Redesigned a website consisting of 6000 static HTML pages in English, French and Spanish.  My tasks were to determine the best course of action, configure the web server, set up the database, integrate the database into a website with a new trilingual user interface, as well as delegate and oversee tasks.
